Eleventh day – Christmas Crafting 2021

A year ago we were having a quarantine Christmas and I was hanging out with my quarantine crew. Fast forward a year and it feels pretty similar. I am happy that my 2020 crew is also my 2021 crew for part 2.

Third Day – Christmas Crafting 2021

I’m not sure about you but I’m starting to feel “jolly AF”, at least when drinking. A few years ago I’d open a bottle of wine and drink the whole thing myself. Not in one sitting. Not in one day and not directly from the bottle. But if I opened it, I’d know I would have to finish it.

Then one day my husband decided wine was the new best thing. Obviously I already knew that! Neither of us can keep tabs on our wine glasses so this gives me a fighting chance to know which one is mine. While he will drink my wine, it’s doubtful he will use these glasses.

Which one is your favourite? I couldn’t decide which is why I now have a 1/2 dozen new festive wine glasses.

1. Jingle Juice

2. Jolly AF

3. Holiday Cheer

4. Tipsy & Bright

5. So Freaking Merry

6. Making Spirits Bright

Twelfth Day of Christmas

Our kids have been begging for a dog for quite a while. We caved. Welcome our newest member Mojo. I made him a bandana to match our Christmas pyjamas.

Tenth Day of Christmas

When I shop I occasionally find myself thinking “I could make that”. Making things isn’t about saving money because it almost always costs more to make than to buy. Making is about putting my own spin on something I see.

I saw pillows like these but the colours were slightly different and wouldn’t work where I wanted to use them so I made some.

Ninth Day of Christmas

I found these cute wine glasses at the dollar store and they were calling for funny wine sayings. I can’t wait until I can gather with friends outside in the summer and sip wine from my fun new wine glasses. “Speaking in Cursive” is my favourite.

Eighth Day of Christmas

On the Eighth Day of Christmas I am making new holiday tea towels. We tend to use Christmas tea towels all year round and as a result ours are looking sad. I thought I would freshen up the kitchen with these fun and festive ones.

Seventh Day of Christmas

I’m jacked to spend Christmas with my quarantine crew. I’ll miss my extended family but I’m also looking forward to 10 days off work with my tiny crew in our matching shirts. Holiday plans over here are definitely different but also matchy matchy.

Sixth Day of Christmas

Don’t mind me I’m just over here entertaining myself with fun candle names. The candles are soy, wood wick, and smell like lavender. I’ve been playing with candle making for a few months and I can’t seem to get the wick to wax ratio quite right, yet but the candle names are on point.

Fourth Day of Christmas

I have spent hours looking through keychains and other “named” products over the years searching for my kids names. I have never been able to find both of their names and there is no chance I will find my husbands name printed on anything. Doesn’t everyone want things with their name on it?

I made these Santa ornaments from Dollarama kits and added our names. My youngest leaned to sew and made his own. He’s so proud of the finished product and I’m pretty proud of him.

Third Day of Christmas

I might have a little issue and I don’t mean wine. No issues there, just pure enjoyment. This Cricut cutter is another story. Everything I own might have words on it soon. Cheers to new coasters!
