With a little help from my 3 year old we made a gingerbread village. I have never tried to make a gingerbread house from scratch because it just seems like too much work. There is nothing wrong with a store bought kit, the fun part is decorating it anyway so why make a giant baking mess for a similar result. My little guy is eyeing the houses, I wonder how long they will last?
